So, last Thursday I attended the Autumn Yard restaurant relaunch in Hackney, London. My gal Vic was graduating that day so it was also a perfect opportunity to catch up and celebrate!
The restaurant was buzzing and had such a great vibe. AY is a little hidden away, so we did have a slight “are we being Catfished?” moment but when we turned a corner and saw AY’s doors and all of the people we knew we were going into somewhere good! (Extra brownie points to AY for having a DJ as well.)
After a lovely G&T, we sat down and got our food tasting hats on. It’s safe to say, most of the time I had no idea what I was eating – but there’s something amazing about that. We experienced the flavours the way that they were intended and without any preconceptions over whether we like that vegetable or not!
The food was amazing. Our favourite had to be the vegetable samosas – they were spicy but not overpowering and the hummus style sauces they were served with complimented them perfectly.
Thankyou so much to everyone at Autumn Yard for inviting me, and for making our evening so lovely. (And for the goodie bag!) I’d definitely recommend checking this place out in May once they’ve launch their new dinner menu. I think it’s going to be something really special! Click here to visit their website.
I’m finally making a commitment to blogging and bringing you all the latest fitness, health and lifestyle tips – so follow on me on Instagram, Twitter, or Snapchat to keep up to date with all of my latest escapades!
