I’ve joined the #SquatSquad

I’m really excited to announce that last month I received an email from High Street TV asking me to join their 30 Day Booty Challenge. The thought of doing 5000 squats in 30 days didn’t exactly fill me with joy but after hearing about how their latest product would be helping me achieve this I became very intruiged!

I love squats, and often do them on a Bosu ball to try to get that extra burn but, having had fibromyalgia for six years, a lack of knee and ankle strength can make my form a little sloppy (which can lead to injury!).

Introducing, the Squat Magic…

The Squat Magic, with its 5 degree tilt, helps perfect your form using its patent-pending Squat Assistive Technology. It guides you on the way down and supports you on the way back up – taking up to 30kgs of strain off your joints. Included in the box is also a wall chart with squat variations (which I love) and a really nicely put together nutrition guide. I’ve had a quick look through and there’s no crazy ‘diet’ suggestions, just realistic and achievable calorie controlled meals.

I was sceptical at first, after one squat my form instantly improved and having the assistance there makes me feel more confident to squat lower.

I’m starting the 30 Day Challenge today! I’ll be checking in around mid-way and again at the end, but make sure you’re following me on Instagram and Snapchat (@alihemsley) to get more regular updates.
