Back in July I joined the #SquatSquad and decided to take on their 5000 Squats in 30 days challenge… You can read my original post here! As you can guess from the radio silence, it’s not being going so great!
From moving house to having a stone in my salivary gland, it’s been a bit of a whirlwind and I’ve definitely been knocked for six! My gym routine has gone out of the window and I’ve been struggling to keep up with the number of squats I’m meant to do a day but, actually, it’s allowed me to test the Squat Magic in a different way.
The Squat Magic promises to help you squat with virtually no strain on your knees, and up to 30kg less strain on your joints. My knees (and ankles) are really badly affected by my Fibro flare ups so this is the perfect time to test how true these claims are…
Although I’m tired and achey, I’ve found myself reaching for the Squat Magic whilst watching tv. I tend to alternate between normal and sumo squats, to get that whole booty workout and to allow my muscles a slight rest between sets but I’m surprised at just how easy it is on your joints! In terms of transformation, I am seeing some changes, which I’ll show you in my next post – above are my ‘before’ pictures… I’d love to grow my gluten and really tone my legs!
One of my favourite fitness bloggers, ‘Sian Lifts Weights’ has been trailing the Squat Magic too and her results are so insane I just had to share them.
Sian’s done an amazing job and has absolutely SMASHED the challenge!
If you want to be in with a chance of winning a Squat Magic then head over to my Twitter (here!) and RT my competition post. Or if you don’t want to risk it, then you can buy yourselves one directly from High Street TV.
