#PaintItPink – Tequila Rose X Lipstick and Gunpowder Event

Have you ever tried Tequila Rose? Ever since I worked in a bar that served it, I’ve been in love with the strawberry cream liqueur! I was lucky enough to be invited to an exciting pampering session with Tequila Rose at Lipstick and Gunpowder in Brighton, and so was my blogger-bestie India! We borrowed (stole!!) Tequila Rose jackets and pretended to be the pink ladies from Grease, we had lots of shots of Tequila Rose, and we even had a Tequila Rose milkshake…

After being greeted by the team, and having a couple of cheeky shots, I had my hair curled whilst sipping on a super scrummy milkshake. I actually really love having my hair curled, I just don’t have the motivation / skill to do it myself, so I made the most of all the photo opportunities, including this funky coloured wall.

I know what you’re wondering – what does Tequila Rose taste like? Imagine an alcoholic shot of strawberry milkshake! It’s often been said to taste like a certain cream liqueur beginning with B, but with a fab strawberry flavour. It’s definitely the perfect drink for summer – whether you’re shotting it, putting it in a milkshake, or maybe even making a fruity cocktail with it. It’s my birthday tomorrow and I’m having a garden party on Saturday so we’ll definitely be enjoying a bottle of it this weekend!

Tequila Rose is available in a variety of bottle sizes (including this super cute mini bottle!) and you can get your hands on it in Tesco! Have you ever tried Tequila Rose? What do you think about it?

Your pictures are beautiful, I love all the colour and this drink sounds pretty good! I’m a fan of the creamier, sweeter tasting liquors, that are enjoyable to drink, and i like that you can have it in a milkshake. 🙂 Lucy xx
